Greetings! Before you read any further, let me say up front that I simply love working with authors.
I have several clients who are currently in the process of self-publishing, including a bestselling mystery writer and a first-time children's author. Beyond editing, I can help with query letters to agents or publishers, or, if you self-publish, other guidance you may need, such as marketing copy. Several of my clients have even made it onto bestseller lists. I'm happy to cheer from the sidelines or coach you each step of the way.
I have experience working with a very wide range of subjects and genres. From wedding disasters and gluten-free cooking to property investment, women's health, and intercultural studies, it seems like I've edited it all. One summer I even proofread some Star Wars books for Random House. So many genres interest me, and I really enjoy helping authors polish their work.
